Paula Martinez is an Associate at Dunn Law, P.A.. She focuses on creditor’s rights and bankruptcy related matters. Paula joined the firm after working in high-volume consumer bankruptcy firms in South Florida where she represented debtors and structured sound repayment plans to creditors.
Paula earned her B.A. in Political Science and Criminology, with honors, from the University of Florida in 2016. She received her J.D. from the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law in 2019.
While in law school, Paula interned for the Honorable Tracey N. Wise, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Eastern District of Kentucky and for the Office of General Counsel at the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida. She also served as the President of the Latino Law Society and the Writing Chair of the Moot Court Board. Moreover, she handled several pro-bono cases by interning for non-profit organizations like Legal Aid of the Bluegrass and Maxwell Street Immigration Clinic.
In her free time, Paula enjoys staying active, cooking, visiting art museums, and cheering on the Florida Gators.
